Alumni Event: Spotlight Film Showcase

Join us for the upcoming Spotlight Film Showcase, an evening featuring four short documentary films created by local filmmakers that highlight important issues in Western North Carolina, including housing and homelessness, reentry after incarceration, community healing after climate devastation, and grassroots food access.

This event is designed to bring together filmmakers, small businesses, nonprofits, and community members to experience the power of documentary storytelling and connect with others who care about meaningful local impact.

Charly Louise, Founder and Director at Venus Rising Media, will show Prayer for Change, a documentary about Medicine Wheel Way and their journey of rebuilding through ceremony and community care after the storm.

Both Sharon and Charly Louise are Connect alumni and part of last year's festival!

Networking at 6PM | Films begin at 7PM
