Patrick Conant

Patrick Conant is the director of Sunshine Labs, an Asheville based government transparency organization. Sunshine Labs advocates for greater public access to the work of our local government, and operates free community projects including Sunshine Request, a tool to make it easier for residents to submit public records requests, and Sunshine Meetings, which makes it easy to follow government meetings across Western North Carolina.

Patrick has lived in Asheville since 2007, and has spent years collaborating on open government and civic technology efforts through groups including Code with Asheville, the Racial Justice Coalition, and the City of Asheville Boards and Commissions Realignment Working Group.
