Rebecca Hecht

Rebecca Hecht has been an Asheville local since 1997. She fell in love with with the city  the day she arrived during what felt like felt like the beginning of a southern renaissance. Rebecca has  been inspired to be a writer since childhood.  Her work  as a playwright has always been multi-media, multi-disciplinary, thoughtful, and observational of current events. Her  goal is to create work that weaves together art, choreography, world culture, theatre, music, and storytelling to create an immersive experience that is modern, relevant, and funny.
